Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals is a world leader in the production of ethylene amines and ethanolamines. Although the chemistry and processes required for the manufacture of these products are complicated, the reason for our success can be expressed in simple terms: know-how and the ability to listen to our customers.

The Ethylene Amines and Ethanolamines section, located in Stenungsund, Sweden, is a centre of excellence within Akzo Nobel.

Production is subject to the most stringent quality and environmental controls. We are, of course, certified in accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). In September 2006 we received our Energy Management System Certificate.
