EDA (ethylenediamine) is mainly used as an intermediate in the manufacture of fungicides for agriculture, in the production of chelating agents, and as a low-temperature bleaching activator in washing powders. It is also used in a multitude of other applications, including lubricants for plastics processing, polyamides, textile resins and fuel additives.
