We have adopted the principles of Product Stewardship in order to help us address health, safety and environment throughout the whole supply chain of our products.

The purpose of Product Stewardship is to ensure that health, safety and environmental protection are integral parts of the design, manufacture, distribution, recycling and disposal of our products. It is therefore a matter of course that our products are managed and used safely every step of the way from manufacturing to ultimate disposal. This work is carried out in close liaison with our suppliers and customers.

At Ethylene Amines we are committed to Product Stewardship by:

– Minimizing the impact on health, safety and the environment of our products and processes.

– Producing chemicals that can be manufactured, transported, used and disposed of safely.

– Extending our knowledge on the potential environmental effects caused throughout the life cycles of our products, through the use of tools such as Life Cycle Assessment and Chemical Risk Assessment.

– Maintaining regular contacts with authorities and an open communication with the public about our business ethics and ongoing work within our company.

– Informing our customers of applicable legal requirements for our products and offering an Ethylenes Best Practices Manual with detailed recommendations on proper use and handling.
